New ranavirus threatens US amphibian diversity

Biologists modeled how a chimeric Frog virus 3 (FV3)-like ranavirus, also known as RCV-Z2, could spread rapidly throughout a population of North American wood frog (Lithobates sylvaticus) tadpoles.
