The deforested pastures are hotter and sunnier, so scientists wanted to see if the frogs had adapted to withstand the heat. They learned that the frogs from pastures had adapted to seek out warmer temperatures than frogs from forests. The maximum temperature they can stand didn't change, though -- so if global temperatures rise too much, the frogs are in trouble.
